We are very pleased to add this magnificent villa to our portfolio and are confident it will be snapped up shortly after is published! Both the villa and the location are spectacular. Rarely do such exclusive villas in this resort become available for letting on a short term basis. Villa Marinha II provides an ideal luxury retreat for memorable holidays.
Luxurious and spacious villa situated in the exclusive Quinta da Marinha resort, surrounded by pine woods and beautiful nature. Completely refurbisehd in 2004 by Vera Cristo, a prestigious portuguese Designer, her inprint is clear throughout the house; the owners are Italian and Brazilian, and furnished the house with many original pieces reflecting their love of art, music and fun! The villa is luxuriously and tastefully decorated and is very well equipped. Light streams in all directions and the view is beautiful and private whichever direction you look.
Entering the villa through the elegant hall, the atrium leads to a flood of light streaming through the large windows and galss door of the spacious living room ahead. Next to the hall we find a leisure area with a pool table; further, a large living area features two distinct living areas: one by the glass doors to be pool, and another further back; this area boasts a large TV screen, DVD and entertainment equipment. The spacious dining area provides seating for up to 10 people. A beautiful feireplace provides a feature point, but it is the light pouring in hall directions, as well as the beautiful gardens and pool that really make this space special.
To the left of the dining room is the modern, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space, two breakfast areas and direct access to the garden.
On this floor there is also a twin bedroom (beds can join to form a double) with a en-suite bathroom. This bedroom also has a TV and direct access to the garden and swimming pool. All bedrooms have a lot of storage space,
Outside we find the large swimming pool with a fabulous jacuzzi area , deckchairs and a pagoda; the jacuzzi area is shallow, ideal for young children. The tranquil garden has 2 tables, chairs and a barbecue for “al fresco” eating. The extremely well kept garden is a wonderful area to relax, and is inspired on oriental gardens; the pagoda is an ideal corner to rest, read or even have a massage. A ping pong table provides entertainment.
On the ground floor we also find a guest WC decorated with a wide mirror and a large collection of teapots.
Rising to first floor we find to the right a cozy living room with TV and a beautiful black piano, a perfect space for resting and reading. To the right of living room is the main double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and with a private balcony with views of garden and pool. The luxurious bathroom features a jacuzzi bath
To the left of the upstairs living area, a corridor leads to two more bedrooms and bathrooms. The first one is a twin bedroom with a beautiful view over the pine wood surrounding the villa. The other bedroom is at the end of the corridor and is the largest double bedroom of the villa, about 40m2, with en-suite shower room, tv, storage space, office area and with view of garden and swimming pool. In the middle of corridor, between these two bedrooms, we have a bathroom for the twin bedroom.
The Villa is very spacious and luxurious, excellent for who look for a relaxing retreat in great style, close to the golf and sandy beaches.

Location
The house is situated in the prestigious Quinta da Marinha resort, a large protected area boasting a luxury hotel, various golf courses, health club, restaurants and swimming pools. The setting is peaceful and green, 5km from beautiful Guincho beach and 4km from cosmopolitan Cascais and Estoril. The motorway is only 4km away, making Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra accessible in under 30 minutes.
The house is located in a priviledged area of the resort walking distance to the health club, hotel and golf; yet it is very private and peaceful.
Quinta da Marinha is 5km from the coastal resort of Cascais, where you will find superb beaches, restaurants, night-life and shopping, as well as a charming old town with rewarding site-seeing.
In the other direstion, Sintra, a world heritage site with its castle, palaces and gardens set in lush vegetation and enjoying ravishing views is a lovely 15 minute car drive across the mountain.
Locally, there is a huge choice of the latest films in original language with over twenty screens in four local cinema complexes reachable within 10 minutes, as are two attractive shopping centres. The summer brings international festivals; classical music and ballet in Sintra, jazz in Estoril and fireworks in Cascais
Lisbon is half an hour away, and with easy access to the motorway system a number of other world class cultural and historic sites make an enjoyable day trip. Lisbon boasts world heritage sites, and a rich cultural, culinary and night life.
The motorway network puts the Knights Templars’ castle and chapels at Tomar and Batalha within an easy day trip, as well as the ancient university town of Coimbra.
Beaches
Guincho beach, world renowned for its beauty and surfing, is five kilometres away. Many other sandy beaches are close by, each with its individual character. Less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast several beaches are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.
Golf
A golfer’s paradise: the Quinta da Marinha golf courses are at your doorstep and you can benefit from discounted rates. Six of Portugal’s best golf courses are within a 15 minute drive, offering new and surprising landscapes, along with first class services and facilities. Portugal is a golfer’s paradise where it is possible to play almost every day of the year, with plenty to offer both beginners and advanced players.
Getting there and around
Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the villa can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 30-40 minutes.
Located in the protected national park of Cascais-Sintra, the property is only 4km from the motorway and so half an hour from Lisbon and its cultural attractions and night life. Taxis are available and cheap, and there is an efficient bus system from the village to Cascais and Sintra; but to get the best out of your holiday we advise car hire, as there is so much to see which is not accessible by public transport.
