Halfway between Cascais and Sintra, Quinta da Beloura Golf Resort is a vast 60+ hectare fully enclosed residential estate, bordering the Sintra – Cascais Nature Park, surrounded by its beautiful mountain range. The estate offers 24h security to its guests and residents, and the resort amenities include a hotel, an 18 hole golf course, a Spa, football pitches, a horseback riding centre, shops, restaurants and much more.

The villa is located in a privileged area of the resort, bordering the golf course, and boasting exceptional green views of the Sintra hills from the gardens and the main facade.

The imposing entrance hall is decorated with beautiful pieces of fine art, and opens onto the vast living areas. The main living room has two separate areas: the TV corner, equipped with an XL flat screen TV set with cable and a DVD player, and the lounging area, a beautiful and sunny conservatory overlooking the gardens. Next to the living room, the formal dining room has a large table for up to 12 people, which connects to the fully equipped modern kitchen. Connecting the kitchen to the main hallway, the indoor patio dining area is one of the most special rooms of the house, and the perfect place to enjoy a light meal. Outside and overlooking the gardens, are located the outdoor dining and barbecue areas.

Accessed via a long corridor, three bedrooms are found in a separate wing of the ground floor. The master bedroom spreads over +50 square metres, and has a large double bed, a sitting area, a dressing room, a walk-in closet and a stunning en-suite bathroom with a hot tub and twin sinks. The two other bedrooms have each two single beds and en-suite bathroom. All three bedrooms on the ground floor open onto the garden, and boast beautiful green views over the Sintra hills.
On the first floor, the fourth bedroom has two single beds, en-suite bathroom and a sunny private terrace, which overlooks the surrounding green areas. The fifth and sixth bedrooms are located on the garden floor, and each has two single beds. The fifth bedroom has en-suite bathroom, and the sixth bedroom has an adjacent bathroom.

The entertainment and wellness areas are also located on the garden floor. The private indoor heated swimming pool is 20 metres long, and opens onto an outside sunny lawn area, where guests will find deckchairs and sofas. Near the swimming pool, is a large jacuzzi tub for up to 6 people, and a Steam room. Next to the pool room, there is a fully equipped gym and a games room (with videogame area, ping pong table, table football and snooker table). Accessed via the games room, are found a Disco/Cinema room, and a small private family chapel.

Location
Quinta da Beloura is a luxurious residential estate near Cascais and Sintra, spreading over 60 hectares, boasting an 18-hole golf course designed by Rocky Rockmore, surrounded by eucalyptuses, oaktrees, pinetrees, magnolias, palm trees, and olive trees, among other species of exotic trees and vegetation that define a unique landscape.

Apart from all the golf-related facilities, guests will find at Quinta da Beloura football fields, several tennis courts, and a horseback riding centre.

Beautiful Guincho beach, cosmopolitan Cascais and Estoril are only 6km away. This is a brilliant location for nature lovers, as the Sintra-Cascais National Park lies harmoniously in the background, where you will find magnificient hiking tracks with abundance of wild flowers, birds and wildlife. The efficent motorway network is 2km away, so Cascais and Sintra are only 10 minutes away, and Lisbon can be easily reached in under 30 minutes.

Sintra, a member of UNESCO World Heritage Site Cities, with its castle, palaces and gardens set in lush vegetation and ravishing views is a lovely 10 minute drive across the mountain.
Locally, there is a huge choice of the latest films in original language with over twenty screens in four local cinema complexes reachable within 10 minutes, as are two attractive shopping centres. Summer brings international festivals; classical music and ballet in Sintra, jazz in Estoril and fireworks in Cascais.

Lisbon, its historic heritage sites and rich cultural life are only half a hour away.

Less distant in the other direction is the coastal resort of Cascais, where you will find superb beaches, restaurants, night-life and shopping, as well as a charming old town with rewarding site-seeing.
Thanks to the motorway network the Templar Knights’ castle and chapels at Tomar and Batalha within an easy day trip, as well as the ancient academic town of Coimbra.

Beaches
Guincho beach, world renowned for its beauty and surfing, is ten kilometres away. Other beaches in Estoril, with calm waters within its protected bay are seven kilometres away. Many other sandy beaches are also close by, each with its individual character. Less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast several beaches are well worth exploring, as well as some excellent fish restaurants.

Golf
Quinta da Beloura has its own 18 hole golf course, a pleasant park course designed by renown architect Rocky Roquemore. Six of Portugal’s best golf courses are within a 5 or 10 minute drive, offering new and surprising landscapes, along with first class services and facilities. Weather
Portugal is a year round destination. Hot and sunny in the summer, with a refreshing breeze off the sea; windier months are July and August; Spring and Autumn are mild, ideal for sightseeing. Rainy days can occur in winter, but it is rarely cold.

Getting there and around
Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the house can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 30 minutes.

Located within the Sintra-Cascais National Park, the property is 2km from the motorway, Lisbon, its cultural attractions and cosmopolitan night life are only 30 minutes away. Taxis are available and inexpensive, transport and private tours can be arranged.

Prices are quoted for up to 8 people. Add €100/week per additional person.  Maximum 12 people.
During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, balance  two months before arrival.
Security Deposit: €750, refundable at end of stay.
