The Guia Seaside apartment is located in a small and selective condominium in one of the great residential areas of Cascais: Costa da Guia, close to the Ocean and surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean pine trees, next to Quinta da Marinha – a luxury resort.

The apartment is situated on the gound floor, and has a lovely terrace overlooking the gardens and the swimming pool. The flat is decorated with much care and is perfect for a relaxed family holiday by the sea.

The entrance hall leads to the living areas. Light pours in and the beautiful stone floor contributes to a sophisticated and cool atmosphere.

The living room has a generous sitting area with separate dining area, and overlooks the sunny swimming pool. Entertainment is provided by the flat screen TV set with cable TV. The living room opens onto a lovely terrace, boasting amazing blue and green views. The terrace has a large outdoor dining table, the ideal place for “al-fresco” meals.

Across the hall, is a fully equipped kitchen, with a separate breakfast area. There is a second terrace overlooking the pool, just off the kitchen, which has a built-in barbecue station and a small breakfast bar. This terrace connects to the other terrace.

The two bedrooms are at the far end of the apartment. On the right side from the corridor, the main bedroom, features a large double bed and has an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is on the left and has twin beds. Both bedrooms have a storage space.

Outside, the beautiful gardens offer pleasant spots to read a book. Beyond the gardens, the shared swimming pool is surrounded by lawn. The pool is never crowded, and please note this being a selective condominium, its rules and peace need to be respected.

The charming, historic town centre of Cascais is a pleasant 10 minutes stroll, or 2 minutes by car. There is plenty to visit such as restaurants, nightlife, cultural events, cinemas with films in English and shopping.
This property is ideally situated for those wanting to take a break with plenty to do but without having to rent a car.

Guincho Beach
Hip and famous Guincho Beach, world renowned for its natural beauty and surfing, is a quick 5 minute drive away, along a spectacular scenic road, where once drove the world’s most popular spy. You can go there by car, walking or cycling through a promenade created for this purpose willfully, it is a very pleasant ride of 20 minutes. This is a perfect beach for water sports such as surf, kitesurf and windsurf.

Cascais local Beaches
There is a long stretch of beaches in Cascais, each with its individual character and charm. Most beaches provide amenities such as sunbeds and parasols, and there are numerous restaurants and cafés on the adjacent promenade “Paredao”. Several beaches less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.

Cascais is also close to the romantic world heritage town of Sintra and half an hour from the centre of Lisbon.

Golf Details
Portugal is a paradise where the golfer can play almost every day of the year. Every course offers new and surprising landscapes, backed up by excellent services and facilities.

There are six courses within a 8 km range, with plenty to offer beginner and advanced players.

Getting there and around
Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the apartment can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 40 minutes via the A5 motorway or the more scenic road along the river to Cascais.

The apartment is so well situated and transport is so good that you can opt for a car free holiday. The local bus will take you to the centre of Cascais in under 5 minutes and to Guincho beach in the other.

Cascais train station is 30 minutes walk and the picturesque train ride along the Tagus river estuary to Lisbon takes 40 minutes. There is a full variety of local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Taxis are close by or can be ordered.

Prices are quoted for up to 4 people. Maximum 6 people and baby.

During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, further 80% two months before arrival, balance on arrival in cash.
Security Deposit: €150, due 1 month prior to arrival and refundable up to 48h after departure.
