Expect glassy conditions in the morning, with frequent onshore winds in the afternoon, a delight for wind and kite surfers, who often consider Guincho a prime spot in Europe. On windier afternoons, surfers can take the world famous “Estrada do Cabo da Roca” across the mountains, and head to Praia Grande beach, deeper in the mountain range and a mere 15 minutes away.
