The apartment, that opens onto the garden and the swimming pool, is outstanding:
well decorated, perfectly clean, spacious, modern, quiet, furnished with great taste, fully equipped, fully air conditioned, very comfortable.
The service is just as good.
I most strongly recommend this beautiful place, but also the excellent service we got.
Our family, including 2 kinds, had most wonderful week at this villa. It is very well equipped and excellently well designed. The facilities and equipment are all up to very high standard. Facilities, including outside ones are more than adequate to keep everybody occupied. The bar surrounded by water was ideal for pre-dinner drinks and chitchat. The only negative comment would be the outside mud roads (we had a puncture in one of the tyres) and without names making it a bit difficult to find, but this is not the villa's fault.
We stayed at the Machado Estate with a family of 14 people, and we had a fantastic week. The children enjoyed the swimmingpool very much, and we liked the tasteful interior decoration of the villa. The estate has enough space to relax and the location is close enough to Lisbon. I would surely recommend the villa for groups up to 14 people!

Hemos pasado una estupenda semana en el apartamento de Atlantic Gardens, en el mes de marzo 2016. Éramos 5 personas (2 adultos, 2 niños y un bebé).
El apartamento es tal y como aparece en las fotos, es bastante amplio y está muy bien equipado.
Justo enfrente hay un estupendo carril bici que bordea la costa, perfecto para dar paseos. Del otro lado, una estupenda Pastelaria y un supermercado que, aunque es pequeño, sirve perfectamente para hacer la primera compra necesaria o para sacar de un apuro.
Como único inconveniente, la casa es algo fría en esta época del año. A favor: la calefacción y el agua caliente funcionaron perfectamente.
El equipo de SOL DOMUS nos atendió con gran profesionalidad y eficacia.
Recomendaría sin duda este apartamento, es una muy buena opción para visitar la zona.

L'acces à Lisbonne est rapide, tout comme celui vers les plages.

Amazing villa with plenty of room for 12 people. The pictures on the website doesn't do the villa justice. Owners very friendly and always happy to help. Would recommend for large groups and would visit again. Top marks.
Notre groupe composé de 10 adultes a passé un très bon séjour. La villa est magnifique et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Tout le confort nécessaire était également présent.
Un grand merci pour la qualité de service. Nous reviendrons c'est une certitude.
We had an amazing time at Machado Estate. The house in a very good condition and the owner of the house is supporting you in every wish you have. I would defenitly recommend this property for every bigger group from 5 to 12 people.
We had stayed in Casa do Mar with family and friends and we enjoyed our stay. The house is big and a full floor could be dedicated to the children.

The tranquility of the place and the friendliness and availability of Maria João. Very comfortable beds. Great space for children and pets.
The week we went it was a little too hot but bearable thanks to the pool and the a/c.
Amazing place to rest and to spend some time with family. The hosts are nice and helpful! The location is perfect to have relaxed vacations!

We were 7 adults and enjoyed the stay.
We stayed here in September ‘21 after twice postponing due to Covid. The management company and owner were both very considerate and fair in the re-arrangements given all of the uncertainty and change in travel restrictions etc.
Sol Domus were largely very easy to deal with and helpful throughout the whole booking process.
The villa itself is superb. We were 2 couples and 4 singles plus a baby and so used all 6 of the bedrooms up and everyone was extremely pleased with their rooms - they are stylishly decorated and the whole place was spotlessly clean (and kept so throughout our weeks visit with two midweek visits from the hardworking and very friendly housekeeper Inacia)
The facilities are great too - heated (at a cost) pool was reasonably warm most of the time - a little cooler a couple of the overcast days, the games room (good pool table, great retro arcade machine, ping pong, bar, huge disco light, fussball, (not quite so good) darts board) is a great gathering point for evening drinks, the island bar at the bottom of the garden and good alternative for sundowners (alongside the small ‘rooftop’ area above the large mural of the villa owner which is good for sunset viewing). Aside all that the beautifully-kept grounds are enormous and great for little ones to explore.
Size-wise I think comfortably it would fit ten adults, beyond that it may feel a bit cramped.
The immediate surroundings are fairly unexciting - the villa itself doesn’t have immediate neighbours and sits in a scheme of varied residences on an unfinished, pretty bumpy/stony road. But it is five minutes drive from the main highway - 25 in total from Lisbon airport and about ten from a big supermarket etc. We did use ubers whilst here - they were €40 or so to get into Lisbon centre but I’d recommend a car for eg supermarket runs.
Helder, went out of his way to make our stay perfect - always on hand on WhatsApp to answer questions and help trouble shoot, give directions etc. He was really a pleasure to deal with. Thanks to him and Sol Domus for a great stay!
