Casa do Esteval is a beautiful holiday townhouse located at Arrábida Nature Park, 35km South of Lisbon, on the North Bank of the unique Sado Estuary, home to more than 600 protected species in Europe such as Dolphins and the Pied Stilt, symbol of the exotic Tróia Peninsula, on the South Bank.

The large living area is tastefully decorated and overlooks the garden and pool area.

The villa is built on two floors, and most rooms on the ground floor connect to the poolside. The townhouse has four good sized bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning and two of them have the garden as their window view.

Outside, the large private garden is perfect to relax and enjoy your vacation. Facing the villa, the 10*4 meter private swimming pool offers refreshment and hours of fun and is secured with a removable child guard fence that can be removed if the guests desire. By the poolside, guests will find lounging areas with deckchairs and an outdoor dining area with a fully equipped barbecue station.

Location
Casa do Esteval is a beautiful townhouse with a big garden and private pool, to which guests have exclusive use. It is located at Arrábida Nature Park, 10km away from beautiful beaches and 2km away from Vila Nogueira de Azeitão – a small historic town surrounded by the natural park and well known for its vineyards and wine cellars that are open to the public. Portinho da Arrábida beach, at the heart of Arrábida Nature park, is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, and boasts a natural bay with calm waters, ideal for swimming and SUP. The area is also famous for its food, therefore it won’t be difficult to find high quality, well priced local restaurants, as well as top quality ones. The delights of the region go from the traditional cheese, deemed to be one of the best in the country, to the Torta de Azeitão, a much sought after local pastry, and to the famous Moscatel wine, a sweet wine served as an aperitif. The local specialty is of course a great variety of fresh fish dishes. Villa Nogueira de Azeitão is a perfect place to try out the local cuisine.

Arrábida Nature Park, home for Casa do Esteval, has been established to protect the beautiful landscape and rich variety of wild life, including eagles, wildcats and badgers.

The surrounding mountains are the perfect place to go for a walk, and excursions can be organised with the local nature tour companies.

There are 3 hospitals near the property, one public and two private. The private Hospital Nossa Senhora da Arrábida is just 5 minutes away from Casa do Esteval.

Beaches
The townhouse is near many sandy beaches, all with different characteristics. Besides Portinho da Arrábida beach there are other beautiful beaches such as Creiro beach (20min away from Casa do Esteval), Galapinhos beach (20min), Meco beach (30min), Sesimbra beach (20min) and Costa da Caparica beaches (30min).

Golf Information
Quinta do Perú is just 8km from the townhouse, Herdade da Aroeira 25km away, Montado Golf 28km away, Tróia Golf 23km and a ferry away (a difficult course but one of the most beautiful in Portugal) and Riba Golf 54km away.

Getting there and around
Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York.
The townhouse is reached by car from Lisbon Airport in 40 minutes (41km).
A car is essential for this holiday as there is no public transport to the Townhouse.
The Algarve-Lisbon highway is 15km away.

Prices are quoted for up to 8 people.
During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, further 80% two months before arrival.
Refundable Security Deposit: €500, due 1 month prior to arrival.
