White Roses Villa – Surface area : 170 m2
White Roses Villa is very homely and cosy and offers the beautiful country Sintra feeling with many artistic touches.
The villa has 3 floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious and airy living room with a dining and seating area for 6 people, with direct access to the front garden. In this part of the garden we have a hammock perfect for relaxing, reading or maybe even a quiet nap.
White Roses Villa has a back garden with outdoor furniture and an inviting barbecue area, perfect for “al fresco” meals. The private 4x6m swimming pool will provide hours of relaxation and fun.
The fully equipped kitchen and its breakfast area are also located on the ground floor, along with a double bedroom and a shower room.
Going upstairs to the first floor, you will find the mezzanine, which has ample storage space, and access to one double bedrooms and one complete with en-suite bathroom, which has a bath and bidet. The bedroom is 10m2, has storage space and natural light.
From the mezzanine there are stairs that lead to the attic. This area is usually used as a spacious living room, but depending on group size and by early request, up to 6 more beds can be fitted in this space, perfect for a group of friends or children.
At the end of the street, there is a beautiful restored tram that will take you to either Sintra or to the beach and is an attraction in itself.

White Roses Villa is situated by the village of Colares near Sintra – 2,5km from the beautiful beaches of Praia Grande and Praia das Maçãs, 10km from central Sintra, 25km from Cascais and 40km from Lisbon.
The pleasant local village, Colares, offers restaurants and shops within walking distance. The nearest restaurant is 50m away, whilst the nearest supermarket is 100m away. Colares is well known for being a specific and exclusive wine region of Lisbon. Here, you will find many fresh markets.
White Roses Villa is in a quiet residential street, within the grounds of a villa where the owners live. They are delighted to recommend restaurants and shops, or to give any directions, information or local hints that would make their guests’ stay more enjoyable.
The area is part of the Sintra-Cascais National Park, where building is restricted. The whole area is abundant in local flora and is ideal for nature lovers. Many idyllic walks are available on your doorstep, including to the beautiful Praia das Maçãs or Praia Grande beaches.
The beautiful gardens have a sheltered area and a great barbecue with seating. Children will love the freedom and open spaces.
Pedestrian walks and tours
A number of pedestrian walks can be started from the house, with very interesting itineraries. To make the most of the experience, the local travel agents Fuga Perfeita can accompany you, with group sizes starting as small as four people. For more information click here.
Beaches and Praia Grande local beach
The villa is surrounded by many beaches, all with different characteristics. The closest are Praia Grande and Praia das Maçãs, both 2km away. Nearby Cascais and Estoril beaches have calm waters. World famous Guincho beach offers great waves and surf, whilst being one of the most picturesque beaches in the area . Praia da Adraga offers beautiful shelter on windy days.
Golf Information

Getting there and around
Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York, the house is reached by car from Lisbon Airport in 40 minutes.
A car is not essential for this holiday as there are buses taking you to Sintra (every 15 minutes) in one direction and Cascais (every hour) in the other. If you want to fully explore the area we do recommend a car however as due to the rural nature of the area, many attractions are only accessible by car.

During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, further 40% two months before arrival, and balance in cash on arrival.
Security Deposit: €300, refundable at end of stay
Prices do not include Tourist Tax charged by Sintra Municipality.
