Welcome to our newly fully refurbished apartment in 2018!
The apartment is completely transformed to high standards, with air conditioning in all rooms, electric blinds and the advantage of a little swimming pool above ground. The holiday apartment is located in one of the best residential areas in Cascais, Guia, in a very quiet one-way street. The Atlantic Ocean is 500m away and the area is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean pine trees. The apartment is tastefully decorated with colours inspired on the sea and unique eclectic pieces created by the owner.

The apartment is situated on the garden floor, and the small building only has 3 apartments, so it is very quiet and intimate. The beautiful vacation apartment in Cascais is light and fresh. 

The entrance hall of the apartment leads to the living area in one direction and the bedrooms corridor in the other.

The large living room is extremely light with large windows in two directions. Entertainment is provided by the large flat-screen TV set with cable TV and seating for 8 people comfortably. The sofa converts into a comfortable bed for larger groups. The kitchen is accessed from the living room and features all modern integrated appliances.

The living room also features a lounging area, ideal for reading a book or catching up on news on the net. A pleasant terrace is accessed from the living room.

From the hall we also access the corridor leading to the 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a private shower-room en-suite. All bedrooms feature air conditioning and electric blinds which means no waking up with light in the morning!

At garden level, the small newly installed swimming pool is providing hours of fun to all ages!
The pool is for exclusive use and has a lovely sundeck. Imagine having your private little garden and pool! Your safe private outdoor space where you can enjoy the sun and a refreshing dip in the water in privacy; then in the evening cocktails followed by a BBQ!

Pool season: May to September. Please note the pool is not supervised.

The apartment is air-conditioned throughout.

Within walking distance of the centre of Cascais and all its amenities, the apartment is situated in the very sought after Guia residential area in Cascais, a short walk from Casa da Guia and its magnificent cliff-top restaurants. The Ocean is 500m away and the beautiful coastal walk links the Centre of Cascais in one direction and Guincho beach in the other.
There is a small local shopping centre walking distance, as well as a local children playground 2 minutes walk. The delightful Casa da Guia by the sea with its shops and restaurants is a pleasant stroll away; Casa da Guia is a truly magical place.
The charming, historic town centre of Cascais is a pleasant 15 minutes stroll, or 3 minutes by car. There is plenty to visit such as restaurants, nightlife, cultural events, cinemas with films in English and shopping.
This property is ideally situated for those wanting to take a break with plenty to do but without having to rent a car.

Guincho Beach

Hip and famous Guincho Beach, world renowned for its natural beauty and surfing, is a quick 5 minute drive away, along a spectacular scenic road, where once drove the world’s most popular spy. You can go there by car, walking or cycling through a promenade created for this purpose wilfully, it is a very pleasant ride of 20 minutes. This is a perfect beach for water sports such as surf, kite-surf and windsurf.

Cascais local Beaches

There is a long stretch of beaches in Cascais, each with its individual character and charm. Most beaches provide amenities such as sunbeds and parasols, and there are numerous restaurants and cafés on the adjacent promenade “Paredao”. Several beaches less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.

Cascais is also close to the romantic world heritage town of Sintra and half an hour from the centre of Lisbon.

Golf Details

Portugal is a paradise where the golfer can play almost every day of the year. Every course offers new and surprising landscapes, backed up by excellent services and facilities. There are six courses within a 8 km range, with plenty to offer beginner and advanced players.

Getting there and around

Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the apartment can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 40 minutes via the A5 motorway or the more scenic road along the river to Cascais.

The apartment is so well situated and transport is so good that you can opt for a car free holiday. The local bus will take you to the centre of Cascais in 5 minutes in one directionand to Guincho beach in the other.

Cascais train station is 20 minutes walk and the picturesque train ride along the Tagus river estuary to Lisbon takes 40 minutes. There is a full variety of local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Taxis are close by or can be ordered.

Romantic Sintra is also an easy bus ride.

Prices are quoted for up to 6 people; additional people surcharge €100/week. Booking fee: €50.

During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, balance two months before arrival.
Security Deposit: €250, refundable at end of stay.
