The house is entered via a beautiful entrance hall with Portuguese tiling, and to the right we find the spacious and bright living room; the living room leads to a cosy functional kitchen. The living room also opens up to a beautiful terrace via large sliding doors. On this floor we also find a twin bedroom, another small room (can be used as office) and a bathroom.

On the upper floor we have 4 bedrooms, all with terrace access. Two double bedrooms have a small en-suite bathroom each. The two other bedrooms share a bathroom on this floor.

The heated pool is on the lower floor as is safely separated by a gate from  the rest of the garden.

The space and layout of the villa are ideal for a combination of family living with working from home. The bedrooms on the ground floor have a private entrance making it easy to separate from the rest of the house and receiving guests without intruding in family life.

Within walking distance of the centre of Cascais and all its amenities, Cascais Riviera Villa is situated in the very sought after Guia residential area in Cascais, a short walk from Casa da Guia and its magnificent cliff-top restaurants. The Ocean is 1000m away and the beautiful coastal walk links the Centre of Cascais in one direction and Guincho beach in the other.
The charming, historic town centre of Cascais is a pleasant 20 minutes stroll, or 3 minutes by car. There is plenty to visit such as restaurants, nightlife, cultural events, cinemas with films in English and shopping.
This property is ideally situated for those wanting to take a break with plenty to do but without having to rent a car.

Guincho Beach

Hip and famous Guincho Beach, world renowned for its natural beauty and surfing, is a quick 5 minute drive away, along a spectacular scenic road, where once drove the world’s most popular spy. You can go there by car, walking or cycling through a promenade created for this purpose willfully, it is a very pleasant ride of 15 minutes. This is a perfect beach for water sports such as surf, kitesurf and windsurf.

Cascais local Beaches

There is a long stretch of beaches in Cascais, each with its individual character and charm. Most beaches provide amenities such as sunbeds and parasols, and there are numerous restaurants and cafés on the adjacent promenade “Paredão”. Several beaches less than half an hour drive North along the coast are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.

Cascais is also close to the romantic world heritage town of Sintra and half an hour from the centre of Lisbon.

Golf Details

Getting there and around

Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the apartment can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 30 minutes via the A5 motorway or the more scenic road along the river to Cascais.

The villa is so well situated and transport is so good that you can opt for a car free holiday. The local buses will take you to the centre of Cascais or to Guincho Beach in under 10 minutes.

Cascais train station is 20 minutes walk away and the picturesque train ride along the Tagus river estuary to Lisbon takes 40 minutes. There is a full variety of local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Taxis are close by or can be ordered.
