This holiday home is part of a property divided in three floors, in this special location by the beach halfway between Lisbon and Cascais, having only 8 kilometers distance from each. The houses share the same beautiful grounds and sunny swimming pool.

Miramar is located in an ideal haven for a holiday with as little or as much sightseeing as you wish. In a privileged residential area, it has splendid views of the point where the river Tagus meets the Atlantic ocean; all houses offer secure accommodation with outside space. There is a private garden next to the house with plenty of space for children to run around having fun or for adults to sit down relaxing, enjoying some nice family time.

The 3 properties (Miramar, Bougainville and Riviera) are all independent floors of a very large house built on a hill, so that each has spectacular views and independant access from the garden. The property sits in the land that used to be part of the King’s palace of Paço d’Arcos; interesting vestiges of this heritage can be found in the gardens, such as historical Portuguese tiled fountains.

Spacious and well equipped house with fantastic views. The large living room accommodates up to 8 people comfortably, and opens up to a terrace with spectacular sea views. Apart from the views, a fireplace offers a focal point and divides the living room from the dining room for 8. The decorated kitchen is fully equipped. There is a large roof top terrace which allows private sunbathing, relaxing moments and al fresco meals, always over viewing the river.

Three of the bedrooms also have fantastic sea views and the fourth bedroom has three single beds and an en-suite bathroom.
Miramar has direct access to the swimming pool and gardens via a staircase.

Location
The Paço d’Arcos properties are located by the beach halfway (8km) between Lisbon and Cascais. 
Please note this is a residential area and the owner lives on the estate. Out of respect for your neighbors, no loud noise after 11 pm please!

The charming old centre of Paço de Arcos is less than a 10 minute walk away, and offers numerous restaurants in a beautiful setting. Local shops are 5 minutes away and the Oeiras Marina with its beautiful boats, shops and restaurants is nearby.

Beaches
The sandy beaches of Paço de Arcos and Caxias are a 15 minutes walk away. Cascais and Estoril beaches can be reached in 15 minutes by local train and further afield Guincho, praia das Maçãs, praia da Adraga and many others are an easy car drive.

Golf Details
The Lisbon Golf Coast was awarded by IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) as the Best Established Golf Destination in Europe in 2007. With plenty to offer to beginner and advanced players, you’ll find 10 golf courses within a short drive (16 km), and great conditions all year round. 

Getting there and around
Above the sea front linking Lisbon and Cascais, the property is easily accessed by road and public transport. The airport is 15km away. Lisbon city centre is 10km, easily reached in 15 minutes by car or by train along the river Tagus.
Fast road access means both Lisbon and Cascais are 15 minutes away.
The small coastal train station of Paco de Arcos is 5 minutes walk, taking you to central Lisbon in one direction, and Cascais in the other.
Public transport is so convenient and reliable that guests can opt for a car free holiday.
A futuristic automated suspended train (SATU) joins Paço de Arcos to a large shopping centre for the serious shopper and a cinema complex with films in english. Access to Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra is easy and quick, making this the ideal base to explore the whole area.

Prices are quoted for up to 6 people. Add €100/week per additional person. Maximum 8 people.
During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking.
Security Deposit: €150, refundable at end of stay.
