The house is located in the prestigious Quinta da Marinha resort, a large protected area boasting four luxury hotels, two 18 hole golf courses, health clubs, restaurants, and equestrian and tennis centres. The setting is peaceful and green, 4km from beautiful Guincho beach and 3km from cosmopolitan Cascais and Estoril. The motorway is only 4km away, making Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra accessible in under 30 minutes.

The house is located in a privileged area of the resort, walking distance to the seaside and boasting beautiful golf views from its strategic location, surrounded by Quinta da Marinha Golf Course fairways, and near the famous no. 13 fairway, with its scenic ocean views. Hotels, Spas and other amenities are all within walking distance.

The large holiday villa is built on two floors. The entrance hall connects to the grand reception room, which opens onto the beautiful private gardens via XL French doors. The grand reception room connects to a charming TV room, which features a large flatscreen TV set with cable TV; and to a formal dining room, which also opens onto the gardens. Near a small toilet room, the massive fully equipped modern kitchen has a separate breakfast area, a pleasant place for a snack overlooking the golf course. The master bedroom is also on the ground floor, and features a large double bed and full en-suite bathroom with a large tub and a separate shower enclosure. The master bedroom opens onto the gardens and the poolside.

On the first floor, a corridor connects to three bedrooms, each boasting pleasant golf views, some with the ocean in the backdrop. Two of these bedrooms have two single beds each, and the other has a large double bed. One of the twin bedrooms and the double bedroom have a private terrace, each featuring pleasant golf views of the resort. There are also two full bathrooms on this floor. All four bedrooms in the main house are fitted with TV sets.
Located on the ground floor and accessed via a separate corridor, the annex is a separate area of the villa, and features a nice living room with a TV corner and a separate dining area, which opens onto the private gardens and the golf course; a small but well equipped kitchen; a full bathroom; and two bedrooms: one with a large double bed, and one with three single beds, each featuring pleasant green views.

Outside and covering the private gardens, a fluffy coat of very well kept bermuda turf surrounds the large (10*12 metres) private swimming pool, and leads guests to a sunny belvedere, equipped with comfortable sofas and deckchairs, next to the golf course. The swimming pool is fully fenced with a children safety fence. As the villa is on a higher level, total privacy is ensured whilst enjoying open views.

The house is located in a priviledged area of the resort walking distance to the health club, hotel and golf; yet it is very private and peaceful.
Quinta da Marinha is 5km from the coastal resort of Cascais, where you will find superb beaches, restaurants, night-life and shopping, as well as a charming old town with rewarding site-seeing.

In the other direstion, Sintra, a world heritage site with its castle, palaces and gardens set in lush vegetation and enjoying ravishing views is a lovely 15 minute car drive across the mountain.
Locally, there is a huge choice of the latest films in original language with over twenty screens in four local cinema complexes reachable within 10 minutes, as are two attractive shopping centres. The summer brings international festivals; classical music and ballet in Sintra, jazz in Estoril and fireworks in Cascais

Lisbon is half an hour away, and with easy access to the motorway system a number of other world class cultural and historic sites make an enjoyable day trip. Lisbon boasts world heritage sites, and a rich cultural, culinary and night life.
The motorway network puts the Knights Templars’ castle and chapels at Tomar and Batalha within an easy day trip, as well as the ancient university town of Coimbra.

Beaches
Guincho beach, world renowned for its beauty and surfing, is five kilometres away. Many other sandy beaches are close by, each with its individual character. Less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast several beaches are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.

Golf
A golfer’s paradise: the Quinta da Marinha golf courses are at your doorstep and you can benefit from discounted rates. Getting there and around
Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the villa can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 30-40 minutes.
Located in the protected national park of Cascais-Sintra, the property is only 4km from the motorway and so half an hour from Lisbon and its cultural attractions and night life. Taxis are available and cheap, and there is an efficient bus system from the village to Cascais and Sintra; but to get the best out of your holiday we advise car hire, as there is so much to see which is not accessible by public transport.

Prices are quoted for up to 14 people. Add €100/week per additional person. Maximum 16 people.
During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, further 40% two months before arrival, balance on arrival in cash.
Security Deposit: €500, refundable at end of stay.
