The villa is an excellent base for a holiday within the beautiful golf resort of Quinta do Peru.

The spacious villa is on two floors. View of the beautiful green surroundings can be enjoyed from most rooms and the whole villa affords and wonderful “open-space” indoors-outdoors feeling, so conducive to relaxation.

The entrance hall leads to the living areas, which open onto the private gardens and the poolside via french doors. The living room is elegantly furnished with modern materials, and entertainment is provided by the flatscreen TV set with international channels. The dining room is located between the living room and the fully equipped Miele Design kitchen, which has a breakfast table.

Still on the ground floor, guests will find three bedrooms, a study and three bathrooms. The study can double up as a fifth bedroom. One of the bedrooms has a large double bed and en-suite bathroom, and the other two have each two single beds, and share a full shower room. The study can accommodate two more people.

On the first floor, the master bedroom has a large double bed, and opens onto a private terrace, which boasts pleasant views over the resort and the poolside. The master bedroom has a separate dressing room, and a stunning en-suite bathroom with twin sinks and a large Jacuzzi tub.

Outside, guests will find 1,000 square metres of private gardens, where the 9*4 metres private pool lies. The pool is surrounded by lounging areas, perfect to enjoy the unique Portuguese weather. Connecting to the living areas, the outdoor dining area (which is next to a barbecue station) is the perfect setting to round-up a day under the sunshine.

Villa Peru is located in the Parque Natural da Serra da Arrabida, 15 Km away from beautiful beaches and close to Vila Nogueira de Azeitao – a small historic town surrounded by the national park and well known for its vineyards and wine cellars open to the public. Arrabida beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, and boasts a natural bay with calm waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Apart from Lisbon, 30km away, Azeitão, Setubal, Palmela and Sesimbra are easily reached, making the self-catering villa an ideal base for unforgettable daily excursions.

Quinta do Peru private condominium offers all the privacy and yet security of one of the most luxurious estates in the region of Sesimbra. Within the grounds you will find the world wide recognised Quinta do Peru Golf Course which offers amateurs a pleasant game, whilst also presenting a challenge for professionals.

This luxurious self-catering villa is situated in the Natural Park of Arrabida, established to protect the beautiful landscape and rich variety of wild life, including eagles, wildcats and badgers.

The surrounding mountains are the perfect place to go for a walk, and excursions can be organised with the local nature tour companies.

The villa is very safe and secluded as it is within a gated condominium with 24 hour security. Views of the beautiful Arrabida park as well of the golf course can be appreciated in all directions from both inside and outside the villa.

Sesimbra, a short drive away, is a quaint fishing town, famous for its castle, beach and beautiful sea front. Palmela has a towering very well preserved castle. Setubal has excellent fish restaurants by the sea front and a ferry to the nearby resort of Troia. Boat trips are organized to watch the dolphins living in the Sado estuary.

The local white sandy beaches are as close as 15 Km and the Arrabida beach is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. With its calm waters, it’s ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

The outdoor swimming pool for private use of guests is reached in the lower part of the private gardens.
The villa is heated in winter and the beautiful fireplace provides additional comfort and atmosphere.

Beaches
The villa is surrounded by many sandy beaches, all with different characteristics. The magnificent bay of Portinho de Arrabida, with its clear quiet waters, it is ideal for watersports. Sesimbra, Caparica, Meco and Troia beaches are all easily accessible.

Golf Information
Quinta do Peru 18 hole golf course is at your dorstep; it was voted amongst the top 10 courses in Portugal in the biennial poll organised by the European Golf magazine; the friendly family atmosphere makes this club an enjoyable and relaxed experience and its diversified course offers excellent views over the surrounding countryside.

Tróia golf (15 kms and a ferry away) a difficult course but one of the most beautiful in Portugal, and Riba Golf is 40 Kms away. Aroeira golf course is 20km away as well as Montado’s golf course. Golf passes are available.

Gastronomy and wine tasting
The region of Azeitão is famed for its gastronomy, and even the local supermarket, Intermarché, has a mix of gourmet and standard products; the supermarket is about 3km from the villa. The local gastronomic festival is held from June to September. Fresh grilled fish is an inexpensive delight. Five formal wine routes have been devised in the Setubal peninsula by the ‘Rota de Vinhos’ association, combining wine tasting with sightseeing, arts and nature. The villa is ideally situated to take best advantage of these delights of the area.

Getting there and around
Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York, the villa is reached by car from Lisbon Airport in 45 minutes. Faro airport is 2 hours away. The motorway junction is 6km away.
A car is reccommended for this holiday as there is no public transport to the Villa.
Within the condominium you will find golf course, tennis, restaurant and bars.
The closest shops are within walking distance. The supermarket is 2 km away.

Prices are quoted for up to 8 people. Add €100/week per additional person. Maximum 10 guests.
During peak season: normal turnover day is Saturday and surcharge may apply for rentals of less than 2 weeks.
Booking conditions: 20% minimum paid at time of booking, further 40% two months before arrival, and balance on arrival in cash.
Security Deposit: €500, refundable at end of stay.
